Take good care of your hair and make your hair healthy.
1. Washing hair
Use only gentle hair products, such as mild or baby shampoo,
to prevent dryness of the hair and scalp. If you have an
oily scalp, frequent shampooing will keep the hair from
staying flat, weighted down by the fats in sebum. It also
depends on the types of your hair, the weather and your
life style and work style, also physical activity, washing
hair properly will also reduce surface sebum, which contains
high levels of testosterone and DHT that may affect the
hair follicle. So if done properly, daily washing hair will
not damage your hair but improve your hair health condition.
2. Brush your hair gently - using a soft baby brush, for
example - particularly if your scalp feels tender, avoid
using excessive heat from hairdryers or heated rollers,
as this can over-dry the hair and make it break.
3. Use a gentle unperfumed moisturizer on your scalp if
it becomes dry, flaky or itchy. Natural oils such as almond
oil, or olive oil are a good alternative
4. Certain hairstyles and treatments can cause breakage
or root damage. Avoid harsh chemicals used in perms and
hair coloring for at least six months after finishing your
treatment.
5. Stress
It is known that stress can cause hair loss, therefore reduce
your stress levels might slow your hair loss. Keep yourself
happy and calm.
